America's First Tyrant - Trump

In the article Is Tyranny Around the Corner? on Room for Debate, it's argued that Americans want a tyrant figure to rule America.  The evidence behind this is that Donald Trump has gained a surprising amount of supporters even though he has an outspoken personality.  Donald Trump is looked at as having the personalities of a tyrant.  This statement is not far off and is very scary to think about.  Even though Trump won't become a tyrant, he signifies that the American people want a tyrant figure.  This could affect everyone because a tyrant could one day be elected and take America in a new direction.  A tyrant seeks to control everybody's lives through a large government which seems to be what Hillary and Trump want.  They have both pushed to have a larger government.  This is not what America needs.
