Religion

Religion and science tend to be the opposite of each other in the sense of what is taught and how the view of the Earth changes. In Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, religion and science are one in the same. The people worship the name of Henry Ford who is famous for perfecting the assembly line and mass production. They see him as a deity and instead of saying something like “oh God” they say the name of Ford instead. This is another way that science controls the people in the society. Like that of the ascending line, the people are mass-produced and perfected in order to stabilize society. Religion in Brave New World is a warped version of our own with its own philosophies and symbols. Maybe one day science will become a religion in our society like that of Brave New World. What do you make of this?

  1. Science is not hard evidence all the time, it is just theory or our understanding of the universe. With religion it is the same thing but not as accepted as science. The difference is between the followers, religion people have faith. But science has been taught in school so more people are familiar with it. It is all matter of opinion if science is a religion today.
