Hallelujah! As the final hours of desperately trying to cram summer homework comes up, I have finished. Through all the nights I told myself I'd do it later, I finally did it. Every year when summer homework is due I tell myself not to wait till the last minute, but when it comes to the following year when homework is due again, I wait till the last minute. I guess somethings never change.
Through the stressful nights of trying to finish reading all three books, I enjoyed reading Where Good Ideas Come From by Steven Johnson the most, because it was a pretty easy read. Johnson talks about this adjacent possible which is the possibility that something greater can happen. It is almost like the millions of doors behind doors of opportunities waiting to be opened. The adjacent possible is part of this liquid network of connected ideas that flow together to create a greater idea. Johnson explains that through mistakes, ideas can formulate into something bigger over time.
