Why is the Internet accepted for all of its imperfections

Have you ever sat down and thought about how many imperfections the Internet is. The Internet probably has more imperfections than a person ever could have but yet people still make it their world.  I find it very weird how people shun or even make fun of others with imperfections but they accept the Internet for how it is. The Internet  is imperfect in the way that it could have false information, people can use it to bully others, and it is not always guaranteed to work all of the time. When thinking about this what do you think is the reason people are like this.
