An interesting article I found on Room for Debate I found was called "Privacy and the Internet of Things", which talks about the possibilities and dangers that arise with Internet connected objects. Many objects such as dishwashers, parking spaces, virtually anything are being networked with connections to the Internet. Although these connections will allow us to stay connected, most debaters agree that a lack of privacy comes with it. For example, one debater named Aleecia McDonald, believes as though all these new connections should be a cause for concern because it invades our privacy and would broadcast our entire lives to everyone. Furthermore, she states that we cannot trust these companies that are trying to implement these new connections into our lives because there would be a lack of restraint on what data to collect. I believe that having to much connection with the Internet is a bad thing. We are constantly trying to connect with people that we are left with virtually no privacy in our lives. There should be a limit as to how much we try and connect with the Internet or the vast majority of "friends" we have online.
I agree with this topic as well. Too much internet connection can be a dangerous thing. Our everyday lives are based off of the Internet initially. Moreover, everything in the world is essentially working through the access of the Internet. However, the Internet has its many flaws like malfunctions and system shut downs that could affect our daily lives. In addition , I also heavily agree that we can not trust the companies of these sources and products in our homes in other words as Brianna stated. Unaware, Internet connected also comes with the disruption of one's privacy. So do I think there should be a limit to Internet access, yes.
