A World in Captivity.

The novel Brave New World can be seen as ironic, yet captivating. The title of the book is highly deceiving once the book becomes understood. Although the World State may be seen with bravery and courage for altering the way the human race is produced and how it functions, the entire uniqueness of the human race has been abolished. The State's focus is to remove emotions, desires, and relationships from their society, but WHY? These qualities are what make us human and without them we're all just a bunch of robots inside. This book raises a lot of "why" questions for me, but my main question is "why would anyone want to change the creation and beauty of the human race?". We have the upper-hand in nature, the brains, the advances and the differentiations.
